As promised, Adele‘s first music video in three years has landed and we have to say—it was worth the wait. The emotional song is called “Hello” and it’s classic Adele—strong voice, moving lyrics—while the visuals feature gorgeous close-ups of the singer, as well as her co-star Tristan Wilds (yes, Dixon from the ‘9021o’ redux.) The video—shot in Montreal and directed by Canadian voice actor and director Xavier Dolan—has already made history, as it’s the first to be filmed using IMAX cameras, which explains the sweeping, cinematic feel.
