The MTV VMAs are kicking off tonight, where the red carpet looks are often more about delivering shock value than serious fashion moments. Case in point: Lady Gaga‘s infamous meat dress at the 2010 show, or Katy Perry’s strapless denim Versace gown at last year’s event.
