Star Wars and CoverGirl Team Up for an Epic Collaboration

If you’re a makeup nerd and a sci-fi nerd, get ready for the collaboration of your dreams. CoverGirl announced today that it is releasing a Star Wars-themed collection in honor of the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens film, due out in theaters December 18.

The collection is divided into two categories, a “light side” and “dark side” (of the force) and today, CoverGirl unveiled a makeup look for each theme, one liquid metallic gold look giving a C-3PO vibe and another deep navy blue and white look to mimic the appearance of a Stormtrooper. 

Included in the collection are lip colors, nail polishes and a SuperSizer mascara, the latter of which is decorated with famous Star Wars quotes. The collaboration is due out in September, so there is plenty of time for Star Wars fans to play and experiment before the movie hits theaters – obviously, beauty/sci-fi nerds will want their makeup on fleek for the occasion.
