Like its French counterpart Cannes, the Venice Film Festival—which kicked off Wednesday—attracts major models and celebrities, which means one thing: Equally major fashion.
So far, Diane Kruger, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Elizabeth Banks are owning the red carpet—Ambrosio’s white, eyelet Philosophy dress complete with cut-outs and ruffled straps had us totally mesmerized at the premiere of “Everest,” while Kruger’s Prada gown featured a metallic, embroidered cape, and Banks’ sparkling Dolce & Gabbana dress prove why this festival is one of the year’s most glamorous events.
However, our favorite look wasn’t one we spotted on the red carpet. Instead, it’s a mesh-panel bodysuit and floral skirt by Thakoon, styled with a hat and worn by Kruger upon arriving in Venice.
